It's "see you later", not farewell

While we normally translate Andrea Boccelli's masterpiece "Con te partiro" as "Time to say good-bye", the literal translation is actually "With you I will leave". Therefore, it is the perfect soundtrack for this farewell-post about London. Even though it it time to say good-bye, I will leave together with my memories from this amazing city.

When I arrived in London, I came pretty much straight from the farm. I had only lived in small cities and on my parents' farm earlier, so moving into one of the world's largest metropolitan was daunting at first, and a little bit scary. Luckily, the people I got to know and the sheer realization that London was a GREAT place to live made it all a lot easier.
